A little over a year after our first practice in the mud, Angels players boarded a plane to Japan as part of Team Kenya for the World Children's Baseball Fair (WCBF).
They trained alongside children from around the world, traded caps and stories, and came home with medals, an effort award and friendships across continents. One of our players was named Team Kenya captain.
Families, coaches and friends packed the arrivals hall at JKIA to welcome them home. To everyone who made this trip possible: thank you.
